I just had the most phenomenal, powerful, transformative walking coaching session with Lisa. Yes, we walked and talked at the same time! It actually helped free up my thinking, kept me loose in my body. Throughout the session, Lisa asked powerful and fun questions that really helped me probe deeper into issues that have been “plaguing me” for some time or when I was “stuck” in my reflections. In just a brief amount of time, I pulled back layers to clearly see a pattern (actually, several patterns) of behavior that have been impacting my entire life around relationships and commitment. And while that experience could be deeply intense, it was done in such a playful and refreshing way. I’d call Lisa’s style as warm, playful, fun, curious, deep, wise, courageous and bold – all while creating a safe space to explore the various facets of one’s life and ways of being. She’s not afraid to “push” you deeper to get to the real heart of the matter. I’ve been coached my many over the years and I honestly feel Lisa is one of the best coaches I have ever worked with. If you choose to work with her, you will grow, gain insight, transform. Guaranteed.
Lisa Boroditsky gave an accessible and engaging talk to the parent body of Vancouver Talmud Torah School on May 25, 2022. She passionately outlined pathways for more harmonious, connected, communicative, emotionally accessible and open relationships between parents and their children. Her conversational approach and infectious warmth captivated and retained the virtual audience and we look forward to bringing LIsa back for more insights and supportive suggestions.
Lisa guided us with compassion and humour through some beautiful exercises that helped reconnect us to ourselves. The frenzy at the end of the school year is always a good time to be reminded that we can’t be of service to others if we can’t be present for ourselves. Thank you, Lisa!
Lisa came to our school to speak with our staff as a kick off event to our Random Acts of Kindness week. The purpose of the week was for our staff and students to engage in acts of social responsibility by helping to contribute positively to our community. Oftentimes however, when caring for others, we forget to take care of ourselves. Lisa created a warm and safe environment for our staff, leading us through a kindness meditation and discussing ways in which we can practice self-care. Her guidance was based on a solid combination of both training and personal experience, and her knowledge and passion were evident in her approach. Through this experience, I have been able to glean the benefits of greater mindfulness and have achieved a new level of well-being. Thank you, Lisa for being a true guide of self-discovery and learning for the staff at Richmond Jewish Day School!
